I really appreciated the Spanish course I had with the institute. The teaching and the course book were excellent. I also really appreciated how the institute also offered cooking, salsa lessons and a walking tour of Quito and how Valeria and staff personally helped provide other trip and excursion ideas during our stay in Quito and Ecuador. They really go the extra mile to help students have an enriching and full language and cultural experience. Thank you for everything!! I love Ecuador!

The staff at ISE have gone above and beyond to help me learn Spanish, they have been very friendly, supportive and accomodating. I now feel safer and more comfortable travelling as a back packer and being able to communicate more clearly with the locals. I loved my experience with ISE! I studied Spanish in college but have been out of practice until I studied abroad as a graduate student, and having a 5 day intensive advanced class was exactly what I needed and worked very well!

This school exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend anyone who is serious about learning Spanish to look no further than this school. The school is very professional and extremely well run. I had been to several schools across South America and this was by far the best one. My teacher (Zayra) was excellent and was very systematic in making sure I understood before moving on. Again, I cannot recommendation this school enough. 5 stars from me.

This was my best experience at a Spanish immersion school. The teachers are excellent and the entire staff is anxious to make your experience meet your expectations. That excellence extends to the home stay experience as well. You won’t regret choosing Instituto Superior de Español.

Instituto Superior de Español is an amazing school. I spent a week studying professional Spanish with a focus on journalism and human rights, and it was fantastic. All the staff are lovely and care deeply about their students; the Director picked me up at the airport at midnight (!), and my teacher, Tito, was extraordinary. I can’t think of a single thing I’d change about this place!

Travelling course was an outstanding opportunity to see multiple beautiful parts of Ecuador and enjoy once in a lifetime experiences - i.e. horseback riding to the top of a volcano!

I found this Spanish School through just a random internet search. It had good reviews, as did others, however The Insituto responded very quickly, and were more than willing to accommodate me last minute. I have taken lessons in other countries, and this was the best class so far. The teacher, Zhara, was excellent; very well educated and trained in language teaching, and she had an engaging personality. She was adept at picking up what I needed to learn in Spanish, level-wise, and practically. She modified the lessons well in this regard, and pushed me forward with new information as well. I liked the classes so much, I signed for another week.

The school was very organized and all of the employees had a sincere desire for the students to master their level of Spanish. The curriculum was organized and well planned. The workbook that we received was very good. Only one thing I would suggest and that is if the school could give us answer pages to the workbook so we can review and continue studying our Spanish (using the workbook as one of our resources), once we returned home to our country of origin. However, other than that, I had a GREAT time.

I've spent seven weeks here and there is so much to say about this amazing school! First of all, I have learned so much and I feel extremely comfortable with speaking to anyone in Spanish. All of the teachers have a different style of teaching and it is amazing to be taught in all types of different ways because it really ensures that you are retaining the content. It is amazing for people of all different learning types. Another really important thing about this school is that you never feel put down. I have made so many mistakes while learning, as anyone would, and everytime my teachers have reexplained the concept until I understood it clearly. Apart from the amazing learning environment that this school provides, it is also an amazing place where you can find fun, safe tours of the wonders of Ecuador. I have done all the excursions and not one of them I regret. They are also priced extremely well. My favorite part of the school was meeting amazing life-long friends from all parts o
